2008 Memorial Scholarships

The Martin P. Cassell Scholarship Program was established in honor of USA Federal Credit Union’s former President and CEO. In June, five college-bound high school seniors will be awarded $1,500 toward their college education.
The CDR. Timothy R. McMaster, USN, Scholarship Program was formed in memoriam of a distinguished Board Member who provided many years of volunteer service to USA Federal Credit Union. One $1,500 college scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior of an active duty military member. |

Both scholarships will be based on the student’s involvement in community activities and academic achievement. Application deadline is March 15, 2008
Each scholarship recipient is awarded $1,500 towards their college education.
Eligibility Requirements All applicants for either scholarships must meet the following criteria: | 1. | The applicant must be a college-bound high school senior.

For Martin P Cassell scholarship: Applicants must be a member of USA Federal Credit Union for one year prior to March 15, 2008, or the child of a member of USA Federal Credit Union who has been a member for one year prior to March 15, 2008.

For CDR. Timothy R. McMaster, USN scholarship: Applicants for this scholarship must have a military dependent I.D. card and whose mother or father is an active duty military member. Applicants must be a member of USA Federal Credit Union for one year prior to March 15, 2008, or the child of a member of USA Federal Credit Union who has been a member for one year prior to March 15, 2008.

| | 4. | The applicant must provide an official high school transcript showing all coursework completed through their seventh semester. |
Note: Family members of the Board of Directors, the Supervisory Committee, and of the employees of USA Federal Credit Union are not eligible to apply for a Scholarship.
Application Instructions
All applications must be completely filled out and postmarked no later than March 15, 2008. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
