Children's Miracle Network

Since 1998, USA Federal Credit Union has supported the Children's Miracle Network — a non-profit organization dedicated to helping kids by raising funds for 170 children's hospitals across North America.

USA Federal members and employees help raise money for local children's hospitals through various events year round. USA Federal annually participates in the "Miracle Month of May" and "Kids' NewsDay" fundraising efforts organized by the Children's Miracle Network.

Miracle Month of May

Each May, USA Federal collects donations for the Children's Miracle Network (Children's Hospital) by selling paper "Miracle Balloons". Through a combination of generous in-branch member donations, gifts from our Select Employee Groups and month-long employee fundraising events, USA Federal proudly supports the Miracle Month of May.

Through the Credit Unions for Kids program and a matching donation from the Prime Meridian Association, USA Federal helped raise over $10,000 for local children's hospitals in 2003 and 2004. Please join USA Federal in supporting the Miracle Month of May by purchasing your "Miracle Balloons".

Kids' NewsDay

Kids' NewsDay is a special edition newspaper put out by the San Diego Union-Tribune in October. This special edition of the paper spotlights how lives are being changed for the better thanks to the services provided by Children's Hospital and Health Center of San Diego.

Thousands of volunteers, including those from USA Federal Credit Union, hit the streets and sell the special Kids' NewsDay edition of the Union-Tribune from street corners throughout San Diego and Imperial counties each year.

Kids' NewsDay newspapers are also available at any of USA Federal's San Diego and Riverside County branches. All proceeds collected go directly to Children's Hospital and Health Center of San Diego. Look for in-branch flyers reminding you when you can stop by any pick up your Kids' NewsDay newspaper.
