USA Federal Credit Union Names New SVP/Chief Operating Officer

Tom Kane Brings 19 Years as Innovative Credit Union Executive

San Diego, Calif., May 23, 2007– USA Federal Credit Union today announced that Tom Kane is their new SVP/Chief Operating Officer. With 19 years of top credit union management experience, Kane will be overseeing many of USA Federal’s core operations, including branch operations, member services, lending, collections, and human resources.

“Tom is a consummately professional leader and represents a dynamic addition to our management team,” said Mary Cunningham, President/CEO of USA Federal Credit Union. “While he is a highly competent and very effective executive, he is also a team player who manages risk instead of avoiding it.”   Most recently, Kane was at Ft. Campbell Federal Credit Union in Clarkesville, Tennessee. Ft. Campbell Federal Credit Union has more than 30,000 members worldwide, with over $245 million in assets. Kane became their CEO in 2005. His experience spans CEO positions since 1998 and also includes Vice President of Marketing at the Credit Union National Association in Madison, WI.

“Tom’s functional areas involve almost all member touch points with the credit union,” Cunningham said. “This puts him in the center of improving our performance and making us even more responsive to member needs.”

Tom and his wife Judy have three children, the youngest of which will finish high school this June. Judy is a Registered Nurse.
