USA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION SPONSORS TIERRASANTA PATRIOT’S DAY EVENTS - DAY FEATURES PARADE, CRAFT FAIR, DINNER & FIREWORKS

San Diego, Calif., May 12, 2007– USA Federal Credit Union proudly sponsors the 21st Annual Patriot’s Day Parade on Saturday, May 19th in cooperation with the Tierrasanta Kiwanis Club. The parade, featuring a classic home town feel, has traditional floats, a marching band, equestrian units, classic cars, dignitaries, clowns, horses, motorcycles, classic cars, military personnel and equipment, and more.

“This event shows the sense of community that makes Tierrasanta so special,” said Veronica Barrera, USA Federal Credit Union Branch Manager at Tierrasanta. “We are very happy to support this great annual event celebrating Tierrasanta.”


The day-long celebration is really three major events.

• The hour-long parade itself begins at Serra High School on Santo Road at 10:00 AM, going straight through along Tierrasanta Blvd. And ending at Farb Middle School.
• In conjunction with the parade, the "Tierrafest Front Fair” (9AM to 4PM) will feature handmade crafts, face painting for kids, a clown and sidewalk sale of fun items. The fair is at Tierrasanta Town Center (10645 Tierrasanta Blvd). Stop by the Tierrasanta USA Federal Credit Union Branch Office in Suite E.
• The Patriot’s Day Barbecue Dinner runs at 4PM – 8PM and is followed by a magnificent fireworks display at 8:15PM. The dinner and display is at the Tierrasanta Community Park (11220 Clairemont Mesa Blvd.)

Over 3,000 people are expected to attend this year’s event. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy the celebration.
