USA Federal is a Presenting Sponsor of San Diego Zoo’s Inaugural “You Belong in the Zoo” 5K Walk

San Diego, Calif., October 19, 2006 – “USA Federal Credit Union is proud to act as Presenting Sponsor of the San Diego Zoo’s first annual “You Belong in the Zoo” 5K Walk,” said Mary Cunningham, President/CEO of USA Federal Credit Union, “We hope everyone will come out to support our world-famous San Diego Zoo and see it in a whole new and exciting way on November 18th.”

To help celebrate the San Diego Zoo’s 90th anniversary, USA Federal Credit Union is doing even more to support the San Diego Zoo. “Every 5K Walk participant gets a special t-shirt. The first 90 walkers who bring their shirts to a USA Federal Branch and open a new checking account will get a special gift,” said Nicole Anderson, VP of Marketing at USA Federal, “Each walker will get a piggy bank filled with 90 quarters to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the San Diego Zoo. Additionally, they will receive two discount coupons for the Zoo/Wild Animal Park (valid for one year) and a cuddly stuffed panda.”
