USA Federal Credit Union’s Rob Folsom Chosen by CUES as One of 2006’s “Rising 100”

Garners Second Major National Award in 2006

Madison, Wis., October 11, 2006 – One hundred and eleven up-and-coming credit union professionals were named as inaugural inductees into “CUES Rising 100”, the Credit Union Executives Society’s (CUES) newest recognition program. USA Federal Credit Union’s Senior VP of Risk Management & Planning, Rob Folsom, was named to this elite group of distinguished industry leaders.

“These award recipients come from a cross-section of credit union functional areas, excluding CEOs,” said Teri Schacker, CUES VP of Marketing, “Their exceptional commitment, hard work and talent significantly helped their credit unions succeed and strengthened the credit union movement.”

Folsom adds this major award to his recent selection for the i3 Group by the Filene Research Institute and the Center for Credit Union Innovation in August, 2006. In that case, he became one of 28 rising credit union executives to replace the 25 inaugural members of this credit union “think tank” group.

To qualify, members of i³ obtained commitment and support from their credit union and its CEO. Each member will serve a three-year term and participate in semi-annual meetings arranged by Filene. The next meeting will be held September 20-22, 2006, in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.

CUES “Rising 100” recipients will be formally recognized in San Diego at CEO Network, CUES’ members-only conference, November 12-15, 2006, at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara (Carlsbad).

CUES is a Madison, Wisconsin-based independent membership association for credit union executives worldwide. Its mission is to advance the professional development of credit union CEOs, senior management and directors.
