San Diego, Calif., April 24, 2006 – USA Federal Credit Union has announced it will participate in the nationwide "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day" on Thursday,

April 27, 2006.

According to Mary Cunningham, USA Federal President and CEO, a variety of educational

and fun activities are planned for the children of USA Federal employees who spend the

day at USA Federal's headquarters at 9999 Willow Creek Road, in San Diego's Scripps Ranch area.

The activities will include a money management class, an Internet safety class, writing appreciation letters to active military personnel, decorating t-shirts and cookies and enjoying a parent/child luncheon.

"We are proud of our participation in this tremendous effort that will help young people connect their school work with the real world," Cunningham said. "We believe it's important for children to see where their parents work and what they do. Early exposure to the work environment can positively impact a child's ultimate career aspirations. Our success as a nation depends on our ability to nurture and help fulfill the dreams and potential of all of our young people."

USA Federal is inviting employees who have a son, daughter or child of legal guardianship, between the ages of 7 and 15, to participate in the program.

"Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day" is a nationwide program promoted by the Families and Work Institute and Ms. Foundation for Women, Inc. This national, public education program evolved from the New York-based Foundation's extraordinarily successful "Take Our Daughters to Work Day," which began in 1993.
