San Diego, Calif., February 16, 2006 – USA Federal Credit Union has been honored with a Peter Barron Stark & Associates Award for Workplace Excellence, which is based soley on actual responses in opinion surveys by USA Federal employees. The surveys measured employees' responses in categories such as communication, values, work environment, motivation, honesty, integrity, ethics, commitment to quality and service, along with benefits and compensation. USA Federal qualified for the award after its employee opinion surveys demonstrated an overall favorable response of at least 80 percent and an improvement in corporate culture by at least eight percent on a consecutive survey within the last two years. "We are very proud to receive this award," said Mary Cunningham, President and CEO of USA Federal Credit Union. "Unlike other workplace awards where the winners are determined by a group of outside judges, this award is based solely on actual employee feedback.
