Chula Vista, Calif., September 29, 2005 – USA Federal Credit Union, headquartered in San Diego, announced that it is a proud co-sponsor of the 1st Annual South Bay Health Fair in Chula Vista on October 8th. The Health Fair will take place in the common area in front of USA Federal Credit Union’s South Bay branch located at 940 Dennery Road, Suite 102. Free health screenings for the whole family will be offered from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and will include blood pressure and blood sugar checks, referrals, health counseling and free literature, along with kids IDs. The San Diego Majestic Lions Club will collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids, which will be repaired, sterilized and classified by prescription, and delivered to people in need in developing countries. “All donations will be accepted and help to greatly improve someone’s quality of life,” stated Jose de la Garza, South Bay branch manager for USA Federal.
