Privilege Pay Overdraft Protection

What is Privilege Pay?

Qualifying members can enjoy the piece of mind that checks will be paid even if there are insufficient funds in your account up to a preset limit of up to $750. With Privilege Pay, your checks, drafts, bill pay, ATM/Debit card, Point-of-Sale (POS), shared branching, and ACH transactions are paid so you can avoid merchant returned item fees and negative information being reported to check reporting systems. There's no need to sign up, Privilege Pay is a benefit automatically extended to qualifying USA Federal members.

How does it work?

Transactions presented against insufficient funds on your account will be paid with Privilege Pay. For each item paid using Privilege Pay, your account will be charged a fee of $25 and you will avoid any additional fees from merchant returned check charges and late fees. You will then have 30 days to bring your account to a positive balance.

Is Privilege Pay a Loan?

No. Privilege Pay is a courtesy automatically extended to qualifying USA Federal members. USA Federal will pay your overdraft transactions up to your preset Privilege Pay limit. USA Federal may suspend your Privilege Pay benefit at any time.

How do I know when I've used Privilege Pay?

You will receive notification when transactions are paid using your Privilege Pay benefit. You may also review your account information 24 hours a day with USA Federal's QuickConnect Online.

What if I exceed my Privilege Pay limit?

Transactions will be returned unpaid if the amount(s) presented against insufficient funds and fee(s) exceed your Privilege Pay limit or existing Privilege Pay has been suspended.
