USA Federal Supervisory Committee

 

The USA Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee is a volunteer oversight committee comprised of five members who are each elected to three-year terms by the USA Federal Board of Directors.

 

USA Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee:

  • Marian Grubbs, Member
  • Maria Perman, Member
  • Mitzi McCrary, Vice Chairperson
  • Virge Harris Jr., Chairperson

Supervisory Committee responsibilities include:

Monitoring board and management activities by attending Board of Directors meetings

Engaging independent auditors and reviewing the findings of both internal and external audits

Conducting annual member account verifications

Verifying compliance with policies, procedures, rules and regulations

Monitoring the internal control environment

Participate in the credit union volunteer training program and attending related seminars and conferences

The Supervisory Committee serves as an advocate for credit union members and helps to oversee the safety and soundness of the credit union assets.
