Asst. Vice President - Member Business Services and Development – San Diego
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Scripps Ranch Headquarters
Responsibilities:

Acts as the direct manager of the Business Services and Development employees. Provides training coaching and mentoring of Business Development Team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsible for all areas of Business Services and Development, including managing a team responsible for the cross selling of all business and consumer products, business development, and retention for business member relationships at assigned credit union partners of MBS. Develop referral sources from credit union staff and other sources. Develop and implement sales plans to achieve sales and growth objectives as assigned. Markets full range of commercial loan and deposit products to the business community through an aggressive, comprehensive calling program. Works closely with all credit union staff to coordinate sales and servicing efforts to commercial relationships. Reviews business loan requests and supporting documents to ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures. Speak at events to further the awareness of USA Federal Credit Union throughout the community. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university or related experience; a minimum of five years progressive management experience including commercial lending and business depository products/services. Strong Commercial Credit and Deposit knowledge is required.
-Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or Board of Directors.
-Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Branch Manager –Tierrasanta
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Tierrasanta Branch
Responsibilities:

This is a sales and supervisory position that manages a branch office of the Credit Union by performing the following duties personally or through a branch team. Knowledge of Branch operational activities, personnel management, regulations and has an understanding of loan practices as would normally be acquired from two to four years of responsible experience in a managerial or supervisory position within a financial institution. Develops business strategies and goals to increase and maintain market share of deposits, consumer and real estate loans. Any and all other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a financial institution previously.
- Minimum 2 plus years of supervisory experience.
- Must have a working knowledge of branch operations and loan practices.
- Knowledge of commercial/small business products and services

Contact Center Agent – San Diego
Job Type: Part-Time, 20 hours
Rotating schedule includes 5 hours per day/ 4 days a week, & Saturday availabilty a must
Location: Scripps Ranch Headquarters
Responsibilities:

This is a Contact Center position. Primary responsibilities are to provide exceptional member service each and every time while obtaining monthly service level goals and ensuring performance objectives as measured by the department scorecard are met. Process share and checking withdrawal requests, transfers funds, loan payoffs, and routine account inquires by phone. Completes research for checking account problems and all account discrepancies as requested by members and branch personnel. Explains credit union policies and procedures to members; answers routine account inquires. Continually strives to meet established goals with regard to the sales culture. Research and adjust all account discrepancies as requested by members from phone, mail, and research requests.

 

Qualifications:

-Credit union and/or banking experience required
-High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training
-Previous Call Center experience, detail oriented, great with people & numbers, loan & sales experience a plus
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Data entry and PC literate

Financial Service Representative – Murrieta
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Murrieta Branch
Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities are to provide exceptional member service each and every time while obtaining monthly service level goals and ensuring key performance indicators as measured by the branch scorecard are met. This position is subject to meeting specific goals and criteria on the monthly scorecard. Goals and criteria are subject to change depending on business needs. The Performance Objectives for this position are: Loan Production, New Members, SEG visits/events, Cross Sell Ratio and Mystery Shops. Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Previous experience working in a financial institution a plus
-Must successfully complete curriculum for FSR as set by USAFCU
-Lending function experience
